The Co-operative Bank is looking for a skilled Head of Technology Partnerships to lead a high-functioning team responsible for creating and driving value across our third-party relationships. This full-time role is based in Manchester offers an attractive salary and benefits package for your expertise.

 

As the Head of Technology Partnerships, you will develop, own, and promote the partner strategy and roadmap of services across the IT estate. You'll be working closely with wider stakeholders to ensure the relationships, contracts, and services meet the current and future needs of the Bank.   • Effectively manage and govern all key relationships, directly and indirectly through the team, driving value and acting as commercial and performance escalation point
  • Embed an understanding of Regulatory requirements inc Consumer Duty, ensuring all contracts meet our compliance needs and that due regard is paid to the interests of customers and customers are treated fairly
  • Ensure partner performance is reflected in governance and that service improvement plans are in place to improve availability, resilience, and customer experience
  • Promote proactive engagement with partners to identify ways to enhance Bank services for customers and colleagues
  • Identify and drive opportunities to reduce cost and/increase value from the 3rd party relationships across IT

 

We are seeking a Head of Technology Partnerships candidate with an understanding of key IT services with experience in delivering and managing 3rd party services across a complex IT environment. Additional qualifications include:

 

  • Excellent understanding of Banking rules and regulations, in particular in relation to third-party management and outsourcing arrangements
  • Proven leadership and people management skills and an ability to build, recruit, and develop high-performing teams whilst driving culture change across a team
  • Experience dealing with large-scale partnership deals in an outsourced environment, ideally in a Financial services environment
  • Knowledge and awareness of how technology can drive innovation, cost reduction, and process industrialisation
  • Excellent knowledge of Supplier management governance frameworks
