There has never been a more pressing time for our Bank to focus our efforts on developing our internal talent. We are looking for an internal colleague to step into a Service Transition Lead role. You will need the gravitas and passion to want to develop and a strong desire to understand how we resolve service challenges across the bank. An understanding of ITIL frameworks would be helpful, some experience in managing projects and bank change methodology would be highly advantageous. An awareness of risk management and the ability to communicate with stakeholders across all levels of the business is a must.
This is an IT role specialising in Service Design and Transition. To ensure changes are fit for purpose and use whilst collaborate with other teams on delivery of the Investment portfolio and manage the operating requirements for go live, most importantly protect service and lead early operational support and acceptance in line with the banks operating model.
What will you need?
* Good knowledge of the UK Financial Services marketplace
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into understandable comprehendible actions for stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to understand the support required for technical design challenges and convey this to the business effectively
* A strong inquisitive and solution focused mind-set
* The gravitas to develop and learn
* Understanding of ITIL frameworks
* Awareness of bank change methodologies
* Experience of managing risks
* Excellent communications / Influencing skills

We promote a hybrid working environment, which means you will work at our office in Manchester roughly once a week and then remotely from home. To enable you to work from home, you will need have a suitable office set up which includes a desk and a chair in a location which is free from the interruptions of day-to-day life.
