Location: Home/ Once per month in Manchester/Leek/Skelmersdale office

Permanent / Full-Time

Salary: Up to £59,800

 

Are you an experienced IT Asset Manager looking for a new full-time role in the UK? The Co-operative Bank is seeking an ITAM Specialist to join our inclusive and collaborative team in Manchester.

 

In this IT Asset Manager role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and compliance of all hardware and software assets managed or overseen by IT Services. Ensuring IT assets, associated documentation, licenses, and Configuration Items are properly registered in our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Asset Management Database. If you were already in this ITAM Specialist role, here are a few areas you might have been working in this week:

  • Identify, define, and deploy best practices for enterprise ITAM
  • Develop and enhance asset management processes, workflows, and documentation to establish standardised procedures and best practices across the bank
  • Manage databases containing crucial information such as licenses, service agreements, and warranties for software and hardware assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Perform data analysis to identify inaccuracies to drive data stabilization
  • Engaging with Stakeholders across Business and Technology areas to ensure best practice in ITAM
  • Identify areas for cost optimisation

 

The ideal ITAM Manager candidate will have ITIL Foundation a minimum, along with relevant ITAM, SAM, or HAM qualifications. You will also require:

 

  • A track-record delivering excellence within ITAM
  • Excellent knowledge of licence management and software audit management
  • Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining ITAM technologies (including CMDB, SAM, and HAM)
  • Experience in supporting significant software audits
  • Understanding of the financial services industry and the regulatory and legislative environment
